Sobha slipped 2.47% to ₹1,238.80, giving back some of the sharp 7% intraday pop it saw after posting record quarterly sales of ₹3,656 crore, up 76% YoY, with net profit more than tripling to ₹50.7 crore. Profit booking set in even as total income climbed 47.6% to ₹1,330 crore, a reminder that at a rich PE of nearly 60x, the market is pricing in a lot of the company's ambitious 30%-plus pre-sales growth target for FY27. The bigger question for investors is margin — Q1FY27 EBITDA margin came in at just 9.7%, and Sobha needs a sharp ramp-up to 17-20% by Q4FY27 to justify that growth narrative. The stock remains well off its 52-week high of ₹1,732.5, and near-term returns have been weak with a 1-year CAGR of -15.12%, but 18 analysts still peg a strong-buy consensus with an average target of ₹1,752, implying meaningful re-rating potential if the margin expansion plays out.
